കര്‍ഷക സമരം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കണം എന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് ഒരു വിഭാഗം നാട്ടുകാര്‍ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചു. കര്‍ഷകരും പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരും പരസ്പരം കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു. സമരക്കാര്‍ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുപോകണമെന്ന് നാട്ടുകാര്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. സമരക്കാരുടെ ടെന്റ് പൊളിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചു. പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരെ പോലീസ് നീക്കി. പോലീസും പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരും തമ്മില്‍ നടന്ന സംഘര്‍ഷത്തില്‍ ഒരു പോലീസുകാരന് പരിക്കേറ്റു.പോലീസ് കണ്ണീര്‍വാതകം പ്രയോഗിച്ചു. മാധ്യമങ്ങളെ പ്രദേശത്ത് നിന്ന് നീക്കി.
